Learn practical skills for propagation and gain expert advice from members of our garden team, whilst exploring behind the scenes in our glass house. Spend a day in our Nursery and Potting Shed with members of our propagation team as they demonstrate and discuss their practise of taking soft-wood and semi ripe cuttings, organic pest control and potting a variety of plants including half hardies, perennials and shrubs. Take cuttings of your own and pot a few up to take home with advice on aftercare. Learn about our sowing calendars and preparation for September sowing in your own garden. Herstmonceux Astronomy Festival 2013 at The Observatory Science Centre
