The museum at Barbican House (next door to Lewes Castle and included in its admission price) traces the development of local people and features the Normans and their Castles, Medieval Realms and the history of Lewes.
Anne of Cleves House is a good starting point for any school project focusing on the Tudors. There is also a local history museum and herb garden on site.
