There are a variety of ways groups can enjoy a visit to Petworth House & Park in 2006. As the number of groups we can accommodate each day is limited, we strongly advise you to check availability with us before making your arrangements.

A  GENERAL DAY OUT VISITS
The House, Pleasure Ground and Servants’ Quarters including the Gift Shop and Restaurant open at 11.00am and close at 5.00pm (last admission to House is 4.30pm). 
Estimated arrival times for groups:
11.00am, 12.00noon, 1.45pm, 2.30pm or 3.00pm.
Admission: Booked Groups of 15+ £7.50 per person, National Trust Members free.

B  MEET THE GARDENER
Why not enhance your visit with a tour of the Pleasure Ground? Find out about the history of the gardens, from its origins in the late 16th century, the work undertaken by both Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown and the 3rd Earl of Egremont in the 18th and 19th centuries, to the present restoration project being carried out and now in its fourth year. Meet a member of the gardening team who now care for the Pleasure Ground and Park. Tours last approximately 1½ hours and are available on Monday (not Bank Holidays), Tuesday & Wednesday. Please contact the Administration Office to arrange time for your tour.

National Trust Members: £2.50 per person
Non-Members: £5.00 per person in addition to normal admission.
Maximum 50 people per tour

C  GUIDED TOURS
Morning Guided Tours
Specialist guided tour of the 17th century mansion can be arranged. Come and enjoy a private tour of the magnificent showrooms and learn more about not only the stunning collection, but also about the family who collected the largest painting and sculpture collection in the care of the National Trust over a three hundred year period. Our experienced tour guides would be delighted to meet your group and bring the history of Petworth House to life. The tours last approximately 1 hour and are available on Monday (not Bank Holidays), Tuesday & Wednesday starting at 10.00am.

Coffee & homemade biscuits are available at 9.30am if required at £3.50 per head.
Please book in advance.

National Trust Members: £7.50 per person
Non-Members: £15.00 per person including re-entry tickets.
(Minimum charge £150.00)

Evening Guided Tours
Tours are also available on Monday (not Bank Holidays), Tuesday & Wednesday evening in June, July and August starting at around 6.30pm.

National Trust Members: £12.50 per person
Non-Members: £17.50 per person

Pre-tour drinks in the Marble Hall
The elegant 17th century Marble Hall is the perfect setting for pre-tour drinks for your group (£5.00 per head). If you wish to have canapés with your drinks, please see Receptions/Dinners below.
